Education Training and Development Practices

When I started my tertiary education, my options were focused around psychology and drama. Given the political realities, the wise choice was to concentrate on the former. Invariably though, I find myself drawing on the power of theatre and storytelling to heighten the learning experience for participants. This is a major contributing factor to my success as an education, training and
development practitioner.

Training is the one area where my personal archetypes collude and all of my strengths and gifts find space for expression. Participants regularly remark that they were completely engaged and had forgotten that they were in a training session. Education and training is undoubtedly my ‘super power’.

As a learning facilitate I offer:

  • a well-versed, underlying Jungian approach which allows for more meaningful engagement;

  • diverse experience;

  • advanced process design;

  • dedicated administrative skills;

  • a highly developed ability to observe and adapt processes which create leverage in beliefs, communication and momentum;

  • a capacity to intuit how learners need to engage with the material and process; and

  • my accreditation as a SDF, Facilitator, Assessor, Moderator and Content Developer.

One of the best accolades I ever received was in 2019 from a staff member at the SOZO Foundation.

"I want to put you in my pocket and take you home so I can listen to your stories forever!"
