I am not my Trauma" Calendar Project
Volunteered as a writing coach to support trauma survivors who shared their stories of trauma and resilience in a 2023 Calendar. The process involved coaching writers to prepare stories that would make a positive impact on others who are facing trauma. I worked alongside those who contributed to the calendar assisting them to redraft their initial submissions and where required, I provided personal coaching relating to their healing journey. Farming with Graduates Recruitment and Training Programme

Designed and lectured the Management and Leadership component of the theoretical training to support programme graduates. The course was conducted online using Google Classrooms. Read more about this story on my blog page.

Education
Served on the governing body of a local primary school for the 3 year term. As Chairperson I guided the group and advises on policy, procedure and legal requirements and chaired disciplinary hearings. I also served as treasure for one third of the term.

Red Tent South Africa - The Harem Echad

Women’s Wellness
The Harem Echad is a red tent community in Cape Town, South Africa supporting and celebrating the cyclic nature of women. The Red Tent is best explained by Anita Diamant herself in her brilliant novel of the same name. Red Tents address gender equality at a community level and enable a practical and accessible forum through which women can process challenges they face.
